The opener, The Sword and the Cross, sets the tone, with John Kevill’s growls and Carlos Cruz’s relentless drumming driving the explosive pace. Guitarists Chase Backer and Adam Carroll match the intensity, especially on A Better World and Neuromancer, where their solos cut loose. The Jackhammer increases aggression, accelerating the tempo and showcasing tight riffing. Through a Glass, Darkly reveals a more melodic side with airy passages, clean arpeggios, and lighter vocals, before the final thrash assault: Strike from the Sky, Cage of Air, and The Last of Mankind bring dynamic guitar work and high-octane energy.

 

Wrath and Ruin confirms Warbringer’s consistency, delivering thrash at its hardest and most dynamic. Inspired by Exodus, Testament, and Slayer—never derivative—the band adds originality, polished production, and track-by-track precision.
